ASCM (formerly APICS)
Official Certification Body — Supply Chain

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), formerly APICS, is the world's largest non-profit association for supply chain management. ASCM issues the CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, and Practitioner credentials and publishes the ASCM Body of Knowledge.

Institute for Supply Management (ISM)
Official Certification Body — Procurement

ISM is the largest supply management organization in the world and issues the CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) credential. ISM also publishes the ISM Manufacturing and Services reports, which are among the most widely tracked economic indicators.

ASQ — American Society for Quality
Official Certification Body — Quality & Process

ASQ is the leading membership organization for quality professionals. ASQ issues the Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and other quality credentials. ASQ exams are open-book and administered at testing centers worldwide.

IASSC — International Association for Six Sigma Certification
Official Certification Body — Six Sigma

IASSC offers globally recognized Six Sigma certifications that are vendor-neutral and not tied to training requirements. IASSC exams are closed-book and particularly valued in organizations that want standardized, training-independent Six Sigma credentials.

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Federal Licensing Authority — Trade Compliance

CBP administers the US Customs Broker License Examination, offered twice per year (April and October). The CBP website contains the official Customs Broker Regulations (19 CFR Part 111), exam application procedures, and links to reference materials allowed in the open-book exam.

ISO — International Organization for Standardization
Standards Body — ISO 9001, ISO 27001

ISO publishes international standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 27001 (Information Security). ISO itself does not issue personal certifications, but accredited certification bodies (BSI, DNV, Bureau Veritas, etc.) audit organizations and individuals against ISO standards.
